It's probably not so much that he hates his crate, but rather that he hates being away from you.
If we need to crate our dog, we put his crate in the room where we'll be so he can see us. But at bedtime, we keep his crate in a different room from our bedroom; while we do let him out once during the middle of the night, we decided early that it would be us setting the morning schedule--not him.
Your dog probably has some sort of separation issues. While he is a puppy, I personally would not give in to his barking by letting him sleep with you--it reinforces a level of attachment to you that can get too strong for the dog's own good. |
