My Baby Daisy had her puppies tonight/this am. I'm also part of the "June Puppies" thread.
Anyways, I need help! She delivered all 3 puppies like clock work, until the 3rd puppy came out. She came, but the placenta is still in there! I tied & cut the cord, then tried to pull the placenta out of Mom, but it went back up! I don't have the oxytocin, my vet would not give it to me.
I'm going to call the vet as soon as they open, but would like to get some advise and help if anyone knows what to do.
She is doing great otherwise, no fever and is a very proud Mama!
