Thanks everyone for your input! I decided to be crafty and made a potty bell myself tonight. It's not as pretty as the professional ones, but it'll do.

Can you guys share your voice command that you use to teach ringing the bell? I was thinking "go outside, go potty" since I already trained him to understand "go potty"?? Or is this confusing b/c it's using the same command I use when I ask him to go potty on the grass?

Also - with giving treats, do I give the treats after he rings the bell himself, after we go outside? or after we get back in from pottying?

Oh - and is it confusing to the pups when we are opening and shutting the door and the bells are going off without them pawing at it?
