Linda, I used to think the same thing as I am a "Purist" . . . My taste in Ice Cream? Total Vanilla. My taste in Yorkshire Terriers? Stick with the standard! Then I saw Biewers. . . .I thought "what the ?????" I read the history and saw Mr. & Mrs. Biewers' historical photos and went "OMG!"
I would NEVER mix the two breeds, as I said, I'm a "Purist". Never breed Biewer to Yorkie. Not into designer breeds. It's my heritage because my parents were breeders and sucessful show exhibitors. That's what I grew up on . . .breed the best you can.
