I recently had a friend who purchased a maltese and 3 days after she got him, she was in the pet hospital with him because he was having seizures, foaming out of the mouth and eating his own feces. So the doctor told her (after paying 700 bucks) that he had an intestinal parasite what was preexisting and all of the stress from the flight (missouri to virginia) caused the case to be greater... I am getting my yorkie in 5 days and I am TERRIFIED that this will happen to him...

has this happened with anyone else?
