This is my opinion, I think it has to do with many factors,
1. How old is the yorkie when you get it(if the dog is older may be harder to train).
2. How
diligent are you and what are your expectations
3. You need
patience
4. The urine is less obvious then a big dogs.
There are many many more reasons and they do have a smaller bladders. I am doing my best 10 weeks into (outside) potty training. Rain, hot sun and eventually the cold cold winter
