I have always given my cats the Brewers Yeast pills from the pet store (any pet store has them) and they work like a charm!
The cats think it's a treat and I haven't had any fleas in my house for years....even when my niece brings her pets over (who,unfortunately, do have fleas most of the time) the fleas are just not interested in my cats.
They say that you are supposed to give them the pills - one for every ten pounds of body weight - for about a month to build it up in their system, but it usually doesn't take nearly that long.
I've started Winston (13 wk. Yorkie) on a half a pill a day, and he loves them already!
