You might want to keep a close eye on them for awhile. He may know right away that this a new baby in the house or he might get territorial. We had two cats (one recently passed away) and the one that just passed away hated dogs, but Chip and Smokey would just look at her when she'd hiss and walk away. The other cat and the two pups wrestle together. Chip actually does better with cats than dogs.
