 AJ had 7 teeth removed
His breath was so bad, and he wouldn't ever let me near his mouth. When I finally was able to, I found 2 loose teeth, and what might have been an abscess.
His breath was so bad that it was difficult to be near him. I'd bath him and he would be stinky later that same day.
So I finally took him to get the baby teeth removed, and here in northern calif, it cost about 400, which included neutering.
I was expecting to pay a whole lot more than that, so that is a relief. But I figure that 400 now vs many hundreds later for illnesses caused by abscesses and rotten teeth was worth it.
Now, he is happier, healthier, and he smells good!! I only have to bath him once a week, and he is much nicer to cuddle with now that he has fresh breath.
From what I hear, this is pretty common with Yorkies. |
