Please don't sedate your pup. I sedated my Cavalier for his first trip and it was completely unnecesary. I kept sticking my hand in his bag to make sure he was still breathing and got myself so freaked out I pulled him out of the bag in the bathroom to check him. He stayed groggy for days. It was awful. |
Is Rescue Remedy any good then? What does it do exactly? I have been toting Milo around in his carrier too, to get him used to it. So far, so good.
My vet suggested something that wouldn't sedate him, but settle his stomach. I wonder if I should use that. Might be called Cerenia. Any opinions?
