 hair loss puzzle
Our one year old girl has hair loss on her left flank. Started out a small red spot, and she licked the hair off, it got inflamed and puffy, I put petsbest rx infection protection gel on it and it scabbed up and now the skin is not red, but the hair is flat and short and the loss is now a lot larger area, she may still be licking it. We took her to the vet and she has no mites, fleas, ringworm or mange. The vet said it could be allergies to grass, or food, so we are monitoring her eating. Went online and saw something called Cushings syndrome, anyone hear of that? (because I am worried!) |
