When I was a kid...the ditch down the street was loaded with tadpoles. So we scooped up dozens and dozens...and my mother (who apparently had lost her mind)...let us put them in an aquarium in her laundry room. Of course...the novety wore off our new pets...we forgot about them. Right up until the day...my mother opened the laundry room door and discovered about 100 frogs all over the place.
