We really dont know how old he is as he was a rescue, but I would guess he is about 1-2 yrs old. He is young so it could be a puppy coat issue. I would like to think they do brush him as much as they say they do. They are very responsible people and (I know this sounds naive), but I believe what they say. I am wondering if maybe they are not bushing him correctly. His wife is legally blind and maybe that coud be it. Thanks, I dont know why I didnt think about "puppy coat"........
