What Im doing right now is when she actually is going I will say "go potty" then praise her. I wait until midstream to tell her so she associates the word with it. Later on, I should be able to tell her before so she knows what I want her to do. She is starting to catch on. She has the pooping down pat. She barks at my feet when she has to poop and I take her out. But going pee is a little slower. She may still have pee accidents, but will still go pee when I take her outside.
