I stopped giving Angel cottage cheese(she had diarrhea) but I bought lactose free milk and i have been making her the whelping pudding. Angel is feeding 7puppies. I have supplemented from the begining. I have karo syrup, nutrical on hand Igive the pups also. I had tried syringe-bottle I had to make several holes in the bottles. I have to hold Angel down to let the pups nurse now but the pups are 3 weeks old.
Anyway it is work to keep them healthy. Angel eats 3-4 times a day along with eating her kibble. I love Royal Canin puppy- or baby dog food. She was eating the yorkie 28.
