Was very interested in this thread. Right away I wondered if it could be LP since you didn't mention any x-rays. My rescue Pommie is 1 yr. old and needs both knees done. I was wondering what would be said about doing both at the same time. I didn't have a hard time keeping my senior girl quiet after her LP surgery, but this 1 yr. old will be an entirely different story. I'm going to wait until school starts and he has to spend part of the day in his kennel anyway, otherwise he'd be having a fit, driving us nuts with his barking.
