Keep in mind that most people's dogs (1 in 3) is obese, so make sure to listen to your vet (as everyone else in the thread has said) and trust your instinct. My vet always says its better to be a little skinny then overweight.
Puppies are usually pretty thin since they are growing. Once your pup hits about nine months you'll be able to determine an ideal weight with your vet. In the meantime, feel her ribs and butt, if the bones are really sticking out, try a but more food each day, otherwise, I think you are ok.
