I use the rescue remedy and for two weeks before a trip, tote my pups everywhere in their bags. Ella Bean's first international trip is coming up, so I'll be stocking up rescue remedy!
Please don't sedate your pup. I sedated my Cavalier for his first trip and it was completely unnecesary. I kept sticking my hand in his bag to make sure he was still breathing and got myself so freaked out I pulled him out of the bag in the bathroom to check him. He stayed groggy for days. It was awful.
