As for the 'best food,' that's a matter of opinion and what is best for YOUR dog. What may be best for one, may not be the best option for the next. There is a sticky at the top of this section with some links to some of the more preferred manufacturers--many will send you samples of coupons if you contact them.
You will have to do trial and error to determine what is best for your little one.
