I HIGHLY suggest two crates. One for bed and one for when you are gone. The bedtime crate, in my opinion, should be in your room. Your pup will have come from a "pack" where he/she slept with others at ngiht. and moving to your house is going to be a HUGE adjustment so i think that crating them next to you will help with their initial seperation anxiety from their mom and litter mates. I also think you should use an x pen during the day if you are going to crate the puppy for longer than 1-2 hours. He/she will not be able to hold it that long when they are young and will need access to water and food and thus pee pads.
