Wow, I feel almost bad chiming in on this thread because Elvis is a real sweety when it comes to grooming him. I had just gotten thru bathing him a few minutes ago, then I let him out on the sunny deck with his big towel and he rolled around on it for a while...The sun helped to get him drier. I spray him with Ice on Ice and brush and comb him. He stands or sits quietly while this is going on and I'm cooing and whispering sweet nothings in his ear the whole time, LOL. But when it comes to the topknot, he really does not like for his head to be messed with, but he endures it, so I try to be fast, which means not a very nice looking topknot, but he's happy and that's what matters most.
