Ok so Bandit is now 13 1/2 weeks old and he will NOT hold still for me to brush him. He hates the brushes!! I have 3 different kind I have tried. I even have the one our groomer uses and still cant get him to hold still....His hair is getting tangled and I want to get them out so we dont have to shave him. everytime he see's the brush he runs and when I catch him and get the brush close enough he starts swisting and flopping and snapping at the brush. He is impossible. I asked the groomer if we should use a detangling spray of some kind and she said no its not necesary....well at this point I think it is. I am at a total loss here. When I can get the brush in his hair a little its so knotted I cant get it through. So should I try a detangling spray? What do I do??
And how can I keep him calm to be able to brush him....I've tried different times of the day....and right after baths but still cant get him to hold still.
