I have gone through dental surgery twice in the last two months with two of mine. MacTavish, almost 1 1/2 yrs. had to have a baby molar pulled. It was loose but just would not come out. My new boy Mocha, 5 1/2 yrs, just had several teeth pulled that his previous owner did not tend to. Both boys came through beautifully. MacTavish came home like nothing had happened. Mocha took two days to start "gumming" his kibble. I had him on canned food but he started stealing kibble from MacTavish and Madeline. LOL Best of luck!
