Just dropping by to say Hi... I'm soooo loving my Gracie Ruth. I don't know why, but I'm amazed time and again at how wonderful she is. She has a 'let's have an adventure' attitude about everything I expose her to. She is THE BEST greeter to everyone she comes up to. She's only 4 1/2 months old, so I'm sure there will be trying times to come when she hits the 'teen' years, but I'm enjoying her so much right now.
Her brother, Boo, is fantastic too. He is so patient with her puppy antics. And is helping her to grow up to be a good canine citizen. Showing her all the proper ways to do walkies, take treats gently, snuggle, protect the castle, keep pesky vermin out of the yard. And she in turn is showing him how much fun toys can be. Boo is not into the whole toy scene, but Gracie is slowing turning him to "The Dark Side". I caught him gnawing on a toy the other day. He look so embarrassed, but I praised him and later I saw him playing tug-of-war with Gracie. YEAH!
I've had and loved other dog breeds, but for me, there is nothing like a Yorkie!! I hate leaving them every morning to go to work, and can't wait to get home at the end of the day and unwind to Yorkie kisses and hugs.
1) Both of Gracie's ears stand up now, but this is still one of my favorite pics of her.
2) The rarely filmed Wild Yorkie tearing the flesh from a recent kill.
3) The Ball!! The Evil, Evil Ball!!
4) Boo, the ever vigilant Protector of the Realm |
