Looks like our Fasteddie came up with a pretty good explaination of Flea Market!! Sounds like your Boot Sale is equivilent to a Yard Sale or Garage Sale here ... people simply display their junk outside with a "Yard Sale" sign and other people buy it and add it to the junk they already have!!

I HAVE to share one of the funniest Yard Sale stories I ever heard! Years ago when my sweet Dad was still living, he and my Mom drove down to Ft. Benning, GA to visit my sister and her family [her husband was in the military and they were stationed there]. My sis was getting everything ready for their transfer to another post ... having a Yard Sale! This type activity was quite boring for the guys who decided to occupy their time cooking a steak dinner. They lit the grill before they went to the store for steaks so their coals would be ready when they returned. Someone came to the Yard Sale, asked if the grill was for sale ... my sister said "sure", dumped their coals and sold the grill!! Imagine my Dad and brother-in-law's surprise when they returned with the steaks and had to cook them in the house on the stove!! Most men here like their steaks cooked outside on the grill, very rare!!

Our Toto was just one year old on July 18!
