When Mojo was about 6 months i took him to the groomer's and they also cut around his eyes...but if you want to keep Esme's in the full standard coat the one thing you should trim is the ears, paws, belly and the "hygienic trim".

I did see Esme's parents. They both looked hairy at the time, but I really didn't pay them much attention because I was so busy checking Esme out!
