Letting her out once or twice at night is probably enough. But it is so much easier if you have an exercise pen where her bed (or crate) is at one end and the pee pad is at the other. Leave the crate door open so she can go to the pad by herself. If she isn't making it to the pad you can line the whole floor of the ex pen with pads so anywhere she goes will be the right place. Then gradually reduce the covered area over time until she has her bed at one end and the pee pad at the other.
