I have only used FrontlinePlus and never saw a tick in four years.
It's the orange box and goes up to 25lbs I believe.
Fleas can make your baby misreable and your home unlivable.

We just had our first bout with fleas since moving into an apartment from a house and I caught it quickly - did the dawn bath - got the frontline PLUS and we have had no problems since.....If you give frontline once a month ticks are prevented but for flea treatment you can go up to 6 weeks or more - so you aren't using as much if you only have a flea problem
good luck ! I never did see a flea on my girls...I saw ONE floating in the water after washing them with the Dawn Dish Detergent - but stay away from the eyes like Carol said !! Good luck !
