I have to bathe Baxter twice a week. I know it is too much but I swear he rolls on the ground in the grass, in the sand, mud, whatever. And that is with the leash on. The water is plain dirty after he gets his bath. He is 5 months also. Doing pretty good on the house training but sometimes still messes up. He doesn't eat a whole lot. He weighs 5 lbs. I am hoping he will get to at least 7. His daddy was 5 and his mommy 7 lbs. I am constantly stepping on him. I don't see how people with itty-bitties take care of them.
