There can be many reasons for the mucus. If it is yellowish or green, you might want to check with the vet. I have a Bichon who has "Dry Eye" and his eyes get extremely mucusy, due to it, even though he is on drops and med, daily for the condition as it doesn't go away. He is blind now too, (due to diabetes) but still has the dry eye condition. |
