I can certainly understand you being scared. I would recommend you start a new thread under sick and injured (call it Charlie Has Legge Perthes) so others will be aware of what is wrong with Charlie and you could ask for advice and tips from others that have undergone this type of surgery. Your story just goes to show why second opinions are so important.
