I am glad to hear it may be a phase. That chewing on anything is frightening.
He already had surgery on his esophagus when a treat bone he was chewing on broke and lodged. IT embedded itself and caused a wound. It took two months to heal and He still gags when he eats even though we mash it . We stillhave non edible dog chews for him to chew on that he likes...but he chooses the house now to look for stuff! yikes.
