A puppy will only grow as big as the uterus has room for it to grow...That is why singleton litters, 3 puppy litters are so worrisome...You have a uterus in the shape of two horns that puppies develop in...When there is only one puppy in a horn it has more room to grow larger in than if it was sharing this horn with other siblings...
In all breeds of dogs typically males are larger than females, Yorkies are no exception...
That being said it is IMO extremely important to breed Yorkies that are good examples of the breed and to try and produce puppies that are so as well! | well said!
