I pretty much only use Mia's carrier when I can't leave her in the car, and when i can't have her walking on a leash or hold her. Its usually when I need to go to the library, post office, courthouse (for work), or if I'm downtown shopping where there's lots of people traffic... etc. There have been times we have been traveling and had to stop for food and it was too hot to leave her in the car so we'll bring her in... no where fancy, just a quick order, sit down, eat and go.
I think the Kwigy-Bo carriers look the most like a regular purse.
