It probably is due partially to the fact that he is very young and that he is still adapted to the new enviroment. Any time what a dog knows as their stable environment is messed with, loss of interest in food is not at all uncommon.

As for Eukanuba, it's not the worst, and not by far the best. There are many that swear by it and many who don't like the ingredients or the company itself--lots of controversy surrounding Iams. Ultimately, you have to determine what is best for YOUR dog--it may not be what another person found success with. (High end, superior rated foods are not always a good fit for individual dogs--too bad it is not as simple as looking at a ratings list and picking one at random.)

Take your time and research what food you think will be a good fit for your little one and supplement as needed. One research site often suggested here -- dogfoodanalysis.com -- is a good place to start and has some good informtion, it is only the opinion of the site editors, not long term research. Don't let your search start and end there. An excellent site, IMO to include in your research is Dog Food Review Ratings
It will take link you to several sites that examine commerical foods, raw diets and home cooking.

Also, there is a sticky at the top of this section w/ links to different manufacturers that will send you samples and coupons to try.
Switch your little one gradually...a sudden change often causes severe digestive upset, among other things.
You will know when you have found a good fit for him by the results you see.

Good luck and congrats on your new addition.
