It hurts me when I see stuff like that, so I try not to watch it very often. I think there was a dog around here that had been found and it had it's ears cut off too. They said a lot of times it's b/c they've been used, or are intending to use them in dog fighting~ the ears I guess, are just something to be torn off while they're fighting, so they cut them off before that can happen (how humane of them
).
I think it's pretty darned sad that I even would have that information
