I used to have to chase one of mine to give her a bath, until I saw the dog whisperer say you should make them come to you. I just sit down and wait while encouraging her.The first couple of time it took a while but now she comes to me. I think this would work in this situation too. Sometimes even when they like something their fear takes over.
