I think you should accidentally let the dog into your car some night and take him to a rescue. There is a good one run out of this woman's country home in Homer Glen, IL. I can get you her info if you want. I will help you as much as I can - I'm fairly close to her and would be willing to meet you somewhere for transport. As far as the cat goes I hope the Humane Society can take her before she has her kittens, but are there any cat sanctuaries where you live?
