Please don't cut off his tail, I have four yorkies all with their tales and I love them it does give them much character and they run way faster than the two yorkies I have without tails, their balance is much better, I find that the four with tails do much better at agility courses than the two I have with docked tails, and they jump higher. Put him in the UKC show forget AKC they actually want you to mutilate your baby just to show through them, forget it, stick with UKC much better!!! He is way to cute to chop his tail off for the likes of AKC, tell the judges at AKC to chop off their arm or one of their legs since they want your yorkie to be mutilated just to show him.
