Thanks for all the replies. From what I can tell visually and from just passing my hand over her I think we are expecting four, there are 4 definite different lumps 2 on each side. I am not palpitating... just literally running my hands over her like I am petting her. She is enormous though, I most likely will be taking her in in about a week for the xray, as I do not want to see one that is way to big. We are excited though, it is getting closer and closer. I get nervous each time and excited to see all the puppy faces.

One more question, have you ever had a bitch that free whelped one time very well, and had issues the next. She is a decent size and did great last time, I just worry that things could change on a dime.
