Sometimes the momma will try to relocate the whole litter if they are not happy where they are. I always confine my momma and babies in a big x-pen so that does not happen. Also, if a puppy is nursing and the momma decides to leave the whelping box or bed then they can drag the puppy out of the box or bed if there are no sides and the puppy does not let go. I am happy to heard the babies are all doing well.
