It's up to you, but I presume taxi will be very expensive since the hotel is about 30 minutes from the airport. If I were you, I would take SuperShuttle, which I think will run you about $18 each way (plus tip). I spoke to the SuperShuttle customer service, and they confirmed they DO allow dogs on their vans, as long as you're holding it or it's in its kennel.
