Default 2nd night not so good

Well, I wrote that our first night with Cruiser went really well. The 2nd day did not go so well. We picked him up Thursday night from the breeder. Friday we had a vet appointment. They said he was really healthy and he did great while we were there. He got his vaccines. Three to be exact (distemper, bordatella, and lyme). Then a few hours later he started throwing up and was very lethargic. We called the vet and they said to take him to the emergency hospital and we did. He ended up having to stay for 4 hours. He got a shot for his allergic reaction to the vaccines, then they said he was pale so they gave him some oxygen, then they said his blood sugar was low so he had an IV. Poor lil dude.

He's better now, but since then I've been very worried that he is not eating enough. He doesn't seem interested in his dry food at all. I have left it out for him since we brought him home. I hand fed him a few pieces but other than that I don't think he's touched it. The breeder gave us a 2 pound bag of what he's been eating there (NutriSource). She also gave us a Cesar's wet food and said to give him a quarter of it for his first few meals. He didn't eat much on Thursday night but he did polish of a quarter of it on Friday morning. Not all at once, just a nibble here and a nibble there. When I picked him up from the emergency vet on Friday night they gave me a little Prescription Diet can and he did eat all of that between late Friday night and Sunday morning. I tried to buy more yesterday but they said you have to have a prescription so we couldn't. I keep giving him a little of Cesars and then we bought some Science Diet but he just barely nibbles at it. I keep setting him in front of it and he'll eat two or three bites at a time is all. I have been giving him a nibble of braunschweiger as a treat when he goes potty outside and he likes that. He doesn't seem very interested in milk bones. I don't know what to do to get him to eat. I don't want him to have low blood sugar again. I wanted him just to start eating his dry food by this point. What should I do?

He sure sleeps a lot. I've never had a puppy so I don't know how much is supposed to sleep but it's by far the biggest activity for him. He likes to be outside though too. He runs around out there. It's so cute how he runs - hopping like a bunny. He doesn't seem too interested in playing with his toys yet. Does that come a bit later?

He's doing great with sleeping in the night and going potty outside. He's had a few accidents in the house with pee but I've caught him every time and run him outside. He hasn't pooped inside at all. And outside he only poops in our landscaping rock, not the grass. Fine with us but I'm surprised by it. He likes his kennel. He goes in there by himself sometimes. He just whimpers for a few minutes when it's time to go to bed. When he whimpers in the night I take him out quick and potty and come back in, see if he'll nibble at his food and then back to bed. It's going well if I can just get him to eat a bit more.
