I have a grass eater as well.... I think she picked up the habit from her border colie friends. Its never been a problem, but if she does it too much I'll tell her "NO!". I just worry about a blockage from too much grass.
She will dive into the grass for a bite mid-run and practically to a double front flip..its hilarious.
