Now I'm not an expert sorry lol I can always learn more but from what i know the average age they leave to their homes is 3 months, some breeders do like to hold on to them longer to make sure they are going to the perfect home or if they are very tiny, or have some kind of special condition. As for the ears yes you can shave them cause sometimes the hair weighs them down and you can also tape them up to try to make them stand. Some may never stand, i have a male and his are down, but i do not know if it is genetic or not. Good luck!
