Sylvan, I did not know that was the term for this defect and had never heard of it
before. Beats me why anyone would look for a dog with a defect. I forget how
long it would take to lose the breed completely (but not long) if people continue
to do careless breeding. Anyone can have a defect show up but breeding to
have puppies with no idea of health problems in the line and
not even trying to breed to the standard so we will have this breed with us for
future generations to come is so sad.
