Hmmm...well, technically - giardia can have an even longer incubation period (and can be latent for awhile) - but not usually in puppies bc they're so vulnerable - so - I don't know what you can really do in terms of a rock solid contract. Or, if there is one. It kind of sounds like maybe you don't feel good about this breeder though - is that it?

As an aside, if it were me - I wouldn't take a yorkie at 9 weeks old from any breeder, let alone a ONE pound yorkie. In fact, I wouldn't take a tinier yorkie until he was 16 weeks old or so, but that's me. I picked up Marcel at 16 weeks and 1.4 pounds - and he was stil incredibly vulnerable.
