Prices are going to continue dropping this year, so I would just hold out and keep looking. When the right home comes along you will definitely know it! Since buying a home is the single most important and expensive investment you should only buy one that you are totally in love with. Remember, if you move into a home you are not all that crazy about, you will only be unhappy.
You could also check out lots for sale and see how much building one that you like would cost. Building a home is generally half as much as buying an existing one.
