Rigger has summer alergies. We did not know what it was last year and we tried limiting his diet and usiing special foods, etc. under the supervision of the Vet. Nothing worked so through the process of elimination we have determined it is something in the air or grass in the summer months. He goes once a month and gets a shot of prednisone aqueois. He only needs this in May, June and July. By September it is all over.
