| hello, i have a potty problem. hi everyone, what a great group. thanks so much for your warm welcomes. its nice to meet you all.
i have been having a problem with little pepper. he is a purebread yorkie but i got him at 5 months old. he is so my shadow everywhere i go he is under my feet. it is so cute and i love him to death. ive had him 3 weeks now and i cant get him to let me know when he has to go potty. to tell you the truth his poopies are real small and i dont have a prob scooping tyhem up as i see him go but its the pee that rearlly irks me. i had to close off my dining room because he has made it his personal toilet and has ruined my wool rug. argghhhhhhhh. if i bring him out he has no problem going but early in the morning with all the snow i dont get him out right away and before i can stretch he is out peed and ran back into bed with me. the little stinker cant hold it at all. i put pads down and he will go on them when it suits his fancy and other times he will just pick a rug. i dont want to put him in a crate because he whines himself sick and my heart is too soft so i was wondering what i should do? when he goes and i see him he will crouch down like he is sorry but keeps on repeating his mistakes. do i need to use some tough love. i have a 3 year old s**tzue who has an accident now and then but she willl go in the basement on the concreete floor so i clean it up right away but on reugs its very hard. any suggestions?
also my yorkie has a habit of playing in his drinking water with his little feet. lol . its so cute but quite messy. anyones other furbaby have this little habit?
if i didnt have my s**tzu id get another yorkie in a heart beat. they are so precious and loving, but right now 2 are all i can handle. i paid 500 dollars for him with all his shots, is that a good price?
well i hope someone can give me a few pointers, i appreciate all the lovelypeople in here. as for a pic i dont have the means to post one but will try in the future.
thanks again. warm hugsxxxxxDanielle |
